Purpose Statement

Community Cup Coffee and More, Inc. is organized and operated exclusively for charitable purposes per Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Community Cup is committed to providing safe, welcoming space to build community in Martinsburg, WV, especially among people in recovery and the most vulnerable, job training for those considered unsuitable for hire, assistance with navigating social services, as well as a space and community for worship.

Mission Statement

Our mission is building community and sharing grace with all our neighbors.

Key Values

• Provide a safe and non-judgmental environment of radical welcome for all people.

• Connect people with hope and compassion, with one another in community, with community resources, and with faith in God.

• Serve our neighbors with particular attention to people in recovery, as well as those who are temporarily unhoused, vulnerable, and underserved.

• Offer coffee, drinks, and simple food at fair prices.

• Assist people to navigate the social services available to them, including bringing social service professionals on site to meet with people at Community Cup.

• Offer pastoral care to those who request help.

• Hiring and offering a living wage to employees who are in recovery, who struggle to find work, or otherwise need flexible work schedules due to living situations and/or special needs.

• Offer a regular time of worship and the sharing of the Lord’s Supper.
